About My Order

  • What is the doors.com return policy?

    Eligible purchases can be returned within three (3) days of receiving the shipment. However, prehung orders, orders with factory finishes, and custom orders cannot be returned as they are tailored to your specific requirements.

  • Can you expedite an order?

    At doors.com, our priority is to ensure that each of our customers receives their orders promptly. While expediting orders through production is not an available option at this point, we are fully dedicated to optimizing our processes to improve delivery efficiency and minimize lead times.
  • How do I track my order?

    Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an email containing the name of the freight carrier, along with a link to their website and tracking information. For real-time tracking updates, kindly visit the freight carrier's website and provide your tracking number. Please note that if your order has multiple items, each some items may have separate delivery date and tracking details.
  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept the following forms of payment: - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept PayPal, electronic and standard checks. If you are planning to purchase items going to a freight forwarder or if the order exceeds $10,000.00 USD that we only except electronic and standard check payments.

    *If you do not have a US billing address, we may call in for international wiring instructions.
  • What happens if my order arrives damaged?


    It is your responsibility to inspect the freight for damages or missing components upon delivery. If your order is damaged, we kindly ask that you refuse the delivery and promptly contact our customer service.

    If the freight packaging seems undamaged, the driver may not be required to wait while you inspect your items. In such cases, it's important to inspect the freight immediately upon receipt and report any damages or shortages.

  • How long will it take to get my order?

    The lead time for your order depends on its type. Here are the typical lead times:

    - Door slabs (door only, no frame) typically ship within 7-10 business days, with most manufacturers.

    - Prehung units (door with frame) typically ship within 3-5 weeks, with most manufacturers.

    - A factory finish typically adds an additional week to the above lead times.

    *Custom doors will require additional time.

  • What are the benefits to fiberglass doors over wood?

    While wood doors are great, certain installation locations might be better suited for fiberglass doors. In some cases, homes may lack adequate protection for wood doors, potentially voiding their warranty. Areas lacking sufficient overhangs to shield the door from direct sunlight, rain, or snow are well suited for fiberglass door installations.
  • What should I look for to determine if my door needs to be replaced?

    Signs such as cracks, peeling, rotting around the door frame, drafts, and difficulty opening or closing the door are indicators that it may be time to consider replacing either the door and/or the door frame.
  • Can you install my door?

    Regrettably, we do not provide installation services. We suggest utilizing platforms like Yelp or NextDoor to locate a reputable installer in your area.
