The 21st Century Doors:
The Tower Theater,
Philadelphia, PA

We had an incredible time at the Tower Theater in Philly! I've been to the Spirit of '67 show where Ray played and to all the RKB shows in Atlantic City and I've loved every one, but NOTHING can compare to watching Ray and Robby play together! I am 25 so I never had an opportunity to see them both on stage and I was not about to miss this!

The show was great. They played some new songs and read some of Jim's poetry. Robby did a flamenco guitar solo before going into “Spanish Caravan.” I think that was my favorite part of the whole show. He is so talented! It was amazing to watch. Ian did a fantastic job as well. I wasn't expecting much (because I had heard mixed reviews) but I was very impressed with his performance. The funniest part of the show was when a girl got up on stage and started feeling him up!!!! He handled it very well! They did two encores and performed the last song (“Soul Kitchen”) with the lights towards the audience. I would definitely recommend for any Doors fans to see at least one show because the opportunity may not present itself again. I am personally hoping to go to the NJ and NY shows in August and I can't wait!!!
