8:40-10:40 pm:
Ian in black hair, leather jacket and pants, sorta looked like him. He
danced around, moved well. He also swore a lot. Good screen above stage
with various visuals. I can see why they charged $70 per ticket--the
interest (turnout) was there!
Set list:
“Roadhouse Blues” (Intro "From Los Angeles, California...", a la “American
Prayer”)
“Break on Thru” ("Dead Cats/Rats" routine in middle, plus a crack about the
Dixie Chicks)
“When The Music's Over”
“Love Me Two Times” (harpsichord no less, Strange Days indeed)
“Moonlight Drive”
“Horse Latitudes”
“Wild Child”
“Two Cops Talk” (the one non-Doors song)
“Alabama Song” (this and the next two songs complete, not the usual medley)
“Backdoor Man”
“Five To One” (prefaced by Ray saying OK, we supported our troops, now the
war is over, let's have peace)
“Crystal Ship”
“People Are Strange” (they said it's fitting for NYC)
“Spanish Caravan”
“Maggie M’Gill”
“LA Woman”
“Light My Fire” (Robby can still play; good, potent job)
Ist Encore:
“Riders On The Storm” (very nice)
“Peace Frog” (great dancing around by Ian)
In between, Ian yells at crowd "you assholes out there…"; his message may
have been to support Robby and Ray against those who say they should not
play anymore, perhaps it included a shot at Densmore's lawsuit. It was
hard to hear, I base this on what I think I heard in the latter part.
2nd Encore:
“Soul Kitchen” (natch…the clock says it’s time to go)
All in All, Great Show!!!!
