by Amine Saib

Hey everyone! My name is Amine and I’m from Africa living in Dallas. I discovered The Doors when I was 13 on a trip to Paris. A friend and I went to Père la Chaise and saw the grave of Jim. Since then I've been a big fan of The Doors.

Last Saturday my dream came true. I got to see Ray and Robby. It was so great because we got the cheapest tickets in the house and ended up on stage! I was so close to those guys that I thought I was dreaming. Robby gave me his guitar pick, people went crazy, girls took off their clothes and everyone was hugging and kissing. It was purely innocent and brought to mind the picture of the Miami concert and the era of the 60s.

I want to thank Ray and Robby for letting a lot of fans live what Jim lived back in the 60s. I just wish that John had been there and that he was not trying to sue those great guys. I also want to thank Ian for his performance. He was great; singing and moving just like Jim. Way to go Ian!

That concert meant a lot to me especially since I come from Algeria, Africa. I never thought I would ever be on stage with Robby and Ray. I love you guys.
