The Doors Collectors Magazine has always made a huge effort to spread the word about current Doors related events and we need your help! If Ray, John, or Robby come to your town and you're lucky enough to see them, PLEASE write an informative article about your experience and send it to us! Pictures, too if you have them! No pre-authorization is needed! Just email us your stuff and we'll do our best to get it listed!
We will also accept articles about other Doors related topics as long as it is your own original writing and is factually documented. Our readers already know the Doors story and are looking for more information about other more focused aspects of the band - ie, Memorabilia; Reviews of Doors & solo members releases; Jim Morrison encounters; Doors live concert experiences; etc.
Here's our guidelines for DCM submissions:
--An important goal of The Doors Collectors Magazine is to promote The Doors. If you want to bitch - please go elsewhere.--The ideal length for an article is 1-3 pages or no more than 1,700 words. Please don't go over or your article won't be considered.
--We reserve the right to edit as we see fit as long as it stays within the writer's original concept. If this irritates you - then don't bother submitting.
--All articles submitted become the property of The Doors Collectors Magazine / Three Dimensional Marketing Inc. All articles submitted may be used on the web with no compensation for the author(s). If your story is selected to be included in a future publication, you will be credited for your work and will be sent five complimentary copies of that publication for full compensation of your efforts - no exceptions.
--Do not submit your article in MS Word format! There's too many Word.doc viruses around. Please send us your article within the body of an email - in text format - not html to: dcm@doors.com
--If there is anything you need clarification on, please email before sending in your submission.
