 | 1968 The Doors 'Light My Fire' Tour Poster Signed by Doors Photographer, PAUL FERRARA
(17" x 21") ORIGINAL 1st and only edition poster. These are the infamous posters that were sold by The Doors at the same time as The Doors Tour Programs. But as rare as the tour programs are, these posters turn up even less frequently. These last couple came directly from Doors photographer, Paul Ferrara - the man who took the photo on the poster as well as those in the tour book. Each is hand signed in silver sharpie by Paul and comes complete with his letter of provenance. These are EXTREMELY RARE! Cond: M-. Click for the BIG Picture

| 1968 Jim Morrison / The Doors Original Commercial Poster |
 | 1968 Jim Morrison / The Doors Original Commercial Poster (22-1/2" x 27-1/2") This large hard to find commercial release was put out by the Satori Productions, Santa Monica, CA and is dated on the bottom 1968. At the time this interesting double exposure of Morrison came out, there were no liscensing laws set up to protect The Doors / Jim's image. These small hippy-type art company production posters were usually made in small numbers for sale through local outlets only. They are very sought after. The photo was taken by Chris Longueuiel / Atropos. This warehouse find won't last long! In the past these same posters have sold for close to $100! Get yours now! Cond: M Click for the BIG Picture

| 2005 'The Morrison Triptych' Poster |
 | 2005 'The Morrison Triptych' Poster (36" x 24")
This amazing painting was done at the request of Jim Morrison in the Winter of 1970-71. The artist, TE Breitenbach, had previously sent a letter to The Doors' office telling them how he admired their music and Morrison's lyrics. In the letter, Breitenbach offerred to paint an album cover for Jim or The Doors. Morrison immediatley replied and sent his ideas for the painting, along with two autographed, private editions of his poetry ('The New Creatures' and 'An American Prayer')
After Breitenbach finished the painting, Morrison was very pleased and asked if he could use it on the cover of his poetry album that he was currently working on. The deal was set! But as we know, Jim passed away in Paris on July 3rd, 1971 before his album was complete. In 1978, the producers of the 'An American Prayer' album didn't know of Jim's ideas for the Triptych cover, so it was never used.
With purchase of this poster we will also give you a copy of the artists story as well as a copy of Jim Morrison's letter to Breitenbach describing his ideas for the painting. Don't pass up the unique opportunity to own this incredible collectible!

| 2009 Wind In Her Hair |

| Wind In Her Hair Signed by FRED CHANDLER & BRUCE BOTNICK! (38" x 27") The poem, 'Wind In Her Hair' originally came from a 1971 dream that Jim Morrison had right before he left for Paris according to Danny Sugerman. When Fred Chandler was working in The Doors office with Danny in 2003 adapting the screenplay of Wonderland Avenue, Danny told Fred of Jims dream about "a girl with wind in her hair riding a horse in a nightmare". Chandler, a published poet was inspired by this Jim Morrison story and wrote a beautiful poem.
Bruce Botnick (The Doors Engineer), friend and poetry mentor of Freds, edited the poem into song lyrics, as he did for Morrison's poetry so many years ago when he was producing the LA Woman album for The Doors.
Catherine Martin (Academy Award winner for Art Direction of Moulin Rouge and Art Director for Baz Luhrmann's recent movie Australia), had her creative team do a unique graphic, true-to-form of William Blake as in his The Sick Rose. Add an incredible print job, and this beautiful poster was the end result!
Don't delay! This is a doors.com exclusive! While our supply lasts this limited edition poster will be signed by both Fred Chandler and Bruce Botnick. Cond: M Click for the BIG Picture
