Mojo (9-99) w/ Morrison on cover

Mojo (9-99) w/ Morrison on cover
This cover looks good enough to frame (I know cause I did it!) Article entitled, "Rock's Dark Side includes a TON of articles on all my favorites. Morrison, Bowie, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Page. One factoid pulled from this article is that during the night of the Tate murders the caretaker, William Garretson didn't hear any screams cause he was listening to Doors music. This about sums up the article - tons of stuff about how rock is so dark - still really interesting. Cond: M

 New Times Journal - Vol. 1 Number 4 (9-7-70)

New Times Journal Vol. 1 Number 4 (9-7-70)
This is an unusual very rare issue! In fact it is the only one I've ever seen! The magazine is the same format as the early Rolling Stone magazines and was published in Seattle, WA. inside amongst the many political rants is an interesting article titled, 'Jimbo: A Lizard? A Snake?' which is written by Ed Leimbacher, who definitely is not a Doors fan. The article details an unusual interview made while in the backseat of Gram Parson's limo at the July 7th, 1969 Seattle Pop Fest. The author spins quite a tale. I sure wish I had a tape recording of the entire interview. Very interesting and very rare. Cond: M-
