Doors Books

'Light My Fire' by William Casselberry (alias Jim Morrison)

Light My Fire
Out of print. Soft cover. The famous book 'Predicted By Nostradamus' (as the cover reads) sequel to Bank of America of Louisianna. This is the first (and only) edition published by Zeppelin, Baton Rouge, La in 1984. Overall a pretty nice copy of the psychotic ramblings of William Casselberry, passing himself off as Jim Morrison as he reappears on earth disguised as a super hippy. Not only was our old price the cheapest price for this cult favorite on the internet. Cond: VG-

 Elle (7-01)

Elle (7-01)
Interesting risque photograph on the cover of this Elle magazine imported from France - not at all like the covers here in the US. Inside has some great color photographs of Jim and Pam inside which are a bit tarnished being within the text of a Patricia Kennealy interview. I didn't get the point since I don't read French - The photos are great despite and make it well worth it. Cond: M

Mojo (9-99) w/ Morrison on cover

Mojo (9-99) w/ Morrison on cover
This cover looks good enough to frame (I know cause I did it!) Article entitled, "Rock's Dark Side includes a TON of articles on all my favorites. Morrison, Bowie, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Page. One factoid pulled from this article is that during the night of the Tate murders the caretaker, William Garretson didn't hear any screams cause he was listening to Doors music. This about sums up the article - tons of stuff about how rock is so dark - still really interesting. Cond: M
